Artists Inquiries
Are you a local artist? We'd love to hear from you. You can email us at [email protected] with your submission— but first, here are some frequently asked questions (and answers) about Revelry’s submission process:
What types of art does Revelry sell?
We primarily sell handmade gifts, jewelry, home goods and fine art (no photography please). Check us out on social media or stop by the store in person to see if your product would be a good fit. We have limited space, so large artwork, including sculptures, are difficult for us to accept.
Are you already selling anywhere else nearby?
We keep a watchful eye to make sure we're always carrying unique items. Part of our mission at Revelry is to carry a unique array of artwork and handmade goods that represent our local arts community. We ask that artists who sell with us do not sell in other Nulu neighborhood shops, so we can keep our store feeling fresh and special.
How do I get solo show at Revelry?
We book our gallery shows about a year in advance, and we typically book artists who we have represented in our boutique first. That said, you can submit your work for future consideration to our info email!
How we pay our artists when their work sells?
We are a consignment based gallery. We cut artist checks each month that reflect the previous months’ sales, which can be picked up or mailed to the artist. We do not purchase art for resale.
Ready to Submit?
Customers are our top priority, so we do not accept in-store submissions or walk-ins.
When submitting, please include images of your work or products, retail price points, and any other information you’d like us to know about what you make (process, media, etc.)
We try to bring in small bodies of work for each artist, rather than individual pieces. For the strongest submissions, please show us a cohesive body of work of at least 3 pieces that demonstrates your unique artistic voice.
- We receive hundreds of submissions a year, and as a small boutique + gallery, we choose to carry what sells well with our customers and fits best with our shop's aesthetic. If we choose not to carry your work, please know that it is not a reflection on its value, but simply a decision of what is best for our business.
- We try our best to check submissions weekly, but as a small business with a small staff, we are sometimes unable to respond promptly. We appreciate your patience, and will get back to you as soon as we’re able.
